Reports in Italy claim Newcastle have approached Inter Milan over a potential deal for midfielder Davide Frattesi. The 25-year-old plays alongside Sandro Tonali for the Italian national side, but Gazzetta dello Sport says Inter are not interested in selling.

United are set to confirm the signing of Jacob Ramsey very soon and also still in the market for a striker. Frattesi has also been linked with a move to Manchester United.
